    The purpose of the role is to lead on the Club Doncaster Foundation Cycle to Health programme planning cycle training for preventative NEETS groups alongside implementing, delivering and maintaining a cycle hire scheme. The role will also involve working alongside Club Doncaster Foundations Health and Wellbeing project, in promoting the physical and mental health benefits of Cycling.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:
    • To support the planning, delivery and evaluation of the Cycle to Health project.

    • Link with DCLT and local cycle networks to increase participation levels.

    BACKGROUND

    FACE Partnership owns several leading cycling properties including the Revolution Series and London Nocturne. In 2016 we will begin a five-year plan to expand these properties in the UK and internationally including the creation of a new Revolution Champions League.

    MISSION

    The core mission of the Hospitality Executive is to support the commercial team as we develop our Revolution Series hospitality offering.

    To achieve this the Hospitality Executive will first and foremost be expected to generate hospitality sales for the Revolution UK Championships and Revolution Champions League events. The successful candidate will have to proactively develop their own pipeline through their own research and by effectively using the current database. They will also be required to liaise with event stakeholders, venues, clients and sponsors, our internal commercial/event team and other external agencies.

    The Role

    Reporting to the Events Development Team Leader, this is a key technical role within Cycle Sport. Accountabilities involve overseeing the coordination of the discipline specific events calendar, providing expertise in the key disciplines within the competition structure whilst enhancing standards and sharing best practice across the sport.

    The role also includes working with the discipline specific commissions to review technical regulations and competition pathways whilst identifying opportunities for future development.

    Importantly this post will contribute to ensuring that this element of the department’s operations are fit for purpose but also making sure British Cycling can develop, nurture and deal with the expected growth in Cycle Sport participation and membership levels over the coming years.

    SUPPORT OFFICER

    The Triathlon Trust is the official charity of British Triathlon (reg charity 1138183), active since 2013. It delivers multi-sport activities and events to young people (targeting 8-14 yr olds) to encourage them to lead more active and healthy lifestyles.

    It has experienced 50% growth rates in the number of ‘active days delivered’ year on year. In 2015 it recorded 50,000 active days delivered since startup.

    The Trust delivers events across the length and breadth of UK, working with the Home Nations of England, Scotland and Wales.  Office support for the Trust is provided by the British Triathlon office based in Loughborough.  As the scale of activity continues to increase a dedicated support role is being created, based in Loughborough.

    The CEO and other team members work from home and are based around the country.

    This role will work in the British Triathlon office at Loughborough University, providing support to the Triathlon Trust across a range of functions.  Role holders will be expected to work flexibly, to support the needs of the Trust, providing a variety of experience and opportunity to develop new skills.  The role holder will also join the delivery team as required to assist in the delivery of events.
