Sport Resolutions is the premier arbitrator and mediator of disputes in sport, having helped to resolve over one thousand disputes across 50 sports, since adjudicating on its first case 15 years ago. The Head of Case Management plays a vital role in providing sport in the United Kingdom with an independent, accessible and expert system for resolving its disputes in the areas of anti-doping, athlete selection, child protection, match-fixing, funding and discrimination.

The Head of Case Management is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the dispute resolution service and for managing a varied caseload with the support of two Case Managers. In this challenging and varied position, the successful candidate will assist the Chief Executive in promoting and developing Sport Resolutions’ services and relationships and in analysing decisions and delivering training. Equally important will be the role of Head of Secretariat of the National Anti-Doping Panel and the National Safeguarding Panel with responsibility for managing the administration of anti-doping and child protection disputes across a variety of sports.

Suitable applicants will be a qualified solicitor or barrister with substantial dispute resolution, court or tribunal experience. Experience of supervision and management of complex casework is required along with previous experience of the delivery of presentations and training. Written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail should be second to none along with good knowledge and understanding of the structure of sport in the United Kingdom and effective IT skills including the use of case management software.
